Osborne has an exciting opportunity to work with us at the beginning of our new Green Career Center, focusing on job placement in the emerging “green” industries market.
Responsibilities: Provides essential administrative and clerical support services that ensure successful outcomes of programs and initiatives; and models collaborative and positive work relationships focused on meeting client and departmental needs. The administrative assistant prepares correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, information materials and presentations using varied computer applications. She/he ensures that prepared materials are accurate and professional and that they conform to established formats and quality standards.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Additional training in computer applications, office procedures and/or bookkeeping as necessary, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to four years of administrative support experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment.
Related Skills or Knowledge: Good organizational skills. Attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated customer service orientation. Strong oral and written communication skills, PC literate, with MS Office preferred. Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and type at least 45-50 wpm.
