Junior Applications Developer

Clearance:

Minimum Security Clearance Requirement: US Citizenship Required – Clearable to Secret (S)/DOE L

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Analysis and resolution of complex programming issues

· Translate functional requirements into technical solution

· Supports outsourced software development projects by participating in design reviews, requirements analysis, and software testing

· Design, build, and maintain web based front end applications

· Uses off-self solutions for programming efforts

· Knowledge and experience in developing front-end applications for Microsoft Sharepoint, and Oracle/ Microsoft SQL database management systems using the Microsoft .Net development platform with C+, C#, Java, or Visual Basic programming language, as well as knowledge and experience in using Structured Query Language (SQL) while working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.

· Assist in medium to large software development projects using project management software (for example Microsoft Project)

· Experience in Red Hat LINUX and Microsoft server operating systems to include fundamental knowledge of network design and operations, along with hands-on experience in joining servers to a network and troubleshooting network related problems.

· Assist with multiple concurrent projects for establishing and implementing strategies for software applications. Coordinates the design and deployment of new relevant hardware and software with other enterprise IT projects. Provides a broad assessment of the scope and resource requirements of assigned projects, including specific results and outcomes. Identifies project issues and risks and makes recommendations on how to best resolve or mitigate them.

· Ensures that operating instructions, user guides, and other technical documentation are kept current.

· Good oral and written communication skills



Qualifications:

· Required IAT level II certification - Per DoDD 8570.1

· Required Secret Clearance

· BS/BA in related field strongly desired

· Provide weekly, monthly and escort reports to include task completed, project status and summary reports.

· 6 Months to 1 Year experience Minimum
