Responsibilities: Research and develop new business opportunities, training opportunities and career ladders in the Green Industry sector. Act as a liaison for all employer contacts, training partners and client services. Manage customer relationships. Develop Osborne’s Green Career Center employer resources by maintaining and advancing community relations with potential and current employers in the green industry. Research and develop employment opportunities that demonstrate a clear career track providing upward mobility in the green industry.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business and/or the equivalent is preferred. Two to four years of directly related experience in a social service agency is preferred. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in the hiring process. Nonprofit experience is strongly preferred, with an understanding of the criminal justice environment. Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyze and integrate information independently.
Related Skills or Knowledge: Strong presentation skills with the ability to be flexible as the needs of the program dictate. Strong negotiation and networking skills, with an emphasis on employer relations at a senior level. Demonstrated experience in problem solving and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals. Sector-based Workforce Development experience is a plus. Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information to a wide variety of audiences. Must be familiar with the criminal justice system. Strong presentation skills with the ability to be flexible as the needs of the program dictate. Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
